Jenna Neu Therapy

It's lovely to meet you.
My name is Jenna and I’m a therapist in training.
I am dedicated to creating a calm, safe and compassionate environment where you are able to share and explore whatever is bringing you to therapy. My goal is to support you on your journey with empathy and respect. Whether you are seeking guidance through a difficult period or wish to enhance your overall well-being, I am here to listen, understand and help you navigate through this challenging time.
My Approach
Coming from a 15-year background in teaching and being a mother of three children, I have become passionate about supporting growth, development and well-being in individuals. Struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and the perinatal period (pregnancy and postpartum) can be overwhelming. This can effect the ability to cope with daily tasks or may lead to a longing to feel a different way. With a deep understanding of the emotions involved, I can support you without judgment as you explore these feelings and manage their complexities. You are not alone on this path.
I am a life long learner and value research. I have always felt a commitment to pursuing additional training and courses in order to provide a therapeutic approach that is informed by evidence-based research.
In my practice, I use components of relational therapy, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and solution-focused therapy to provide a therapeutic experience tailored to each individual. I am trauma-informed and am trained in the Flash Technique which allows clients to process disturbing memories without reliving the event.
I receive clinical supervision in order to provide a high standard of practice. I am currently completing my second year at the Toronto Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling Education. I am a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Queen's University and have a Master of Arts in Child Study and Education from OISE (Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto).
